My dad loves to give my husband advice. When my husband and I were dating, my dad would joke around with him, telling him what to do and my husband could never tell when he was joking. That turned into a family joke once we got married, and my dad and husband always joke around with each other trying to get the other to believe them. My husband hates to ask my dad for advice on anything because my dad starts to treat him like the son he never had and talks to him for what seems like hours about the way he should do things. The other day my husband and I were talking about ways to save money. I told my husband that my parents were able to save money on their power bill but I was not sure how. My husband asked me to call my dad to ask him about it because he did not want to get into an hour long discussion about it. I guess that is just the relationship they will always have.

I had a training today at the board office so I got to sit in a chair all day and listen to someone talk rather than standing in front of my class all day teaching. I really don’t know which one is better! The good thing about training is that we get to actually go out to lunch like the rest of the working world. It was so nice to get to go to a restaurant and eat with my coworkers without students interrupting our lunch asking to go to the bathroom or tattling that someone is throwing food! We had adult conversation that wasn’t about our students for a solid hour; it was great! My coworker was telling me about how her house got broken into. She said she went into her house and didn’t even realize that it had been broken in because the house wasn’t ransacked. They had passed the big screen TV and only stolen one of her husband’s guns. Needless to say she got a Illinois adt security. She called and told them she wasn’t leaving her house until a system was installed!

I think that one of the most awkward times for a show is seeing how good it’s second season is going to be. It seems like most of the time you have to see just if you can recreate the magic that you saw in the first season. My roommates’ an actor and I hear about that type of stuff all the time.

The both of us have been looking up all kinds of info with our wireless internet Dallas on the upcoming season of Boardwalk Empire. I think that so many people fell in love with the show and are eagerly awaiting to see all that the show is going to put all of these people peoples’ troubles on display. But I guess that is the reason that they make drama shoes in the first place.

I found three pages which were especially amusing. The first is Photoshop Fail, which contains images that people doctored up but missed spots here and there such that the message they conveyed was obviously false. For example, there’s a picture of a guy flexing his muscles where he made his biceps just a little bigger. The only problem was that there was a line where he added bulk. I could imagine a country music wannabe photoshopping themselves onto a stage, where they’ve never performed in front of a crowd.

The next funny page is called Duckface. It shows images of girls who pout their lips in an attempt to look like a duck. Well, not all girls – there’s one dog on the page who does a great job. I’d love to see Taylor Swift do one of these!

The last page I thought was funny is entitled Funny Autocorrect and it displays funny conversations between people on chat. The dialog made me giggle as it brought back old memories of chats that I had in the past.

Anyway, I thought that website was cute. It made me laugh and you should check it out.
