We are fans of the country harmony vocal trio, Carolina Rain. The band members are Rhean Boyer on guitar, Jeremy Baxter on mandolin and Marvin Evatt playing the banjo, and guitar. Rhean and Marvin met at Belmont University in Nashville. They became friends while working together as campus security and wrote songs while on the job. Boyer knew Baxter since 1999, having met while singing in the same church choir. Named after the first song they wrote together, Carolina Rain came to the attention of the Equity Music Group. However, nothing really happened after that.
