Gift idea: wine giftcard

The holidays are supposed to be, “The most wonderful time of the year.” This could be true if you actually got gifts that you were happy to receive. I’m sure there were gifts that you got this year that were less than desirable. Just to name a few horrible gifts that I got this year, there was the oven mitt set, the inflatable chair, and tickets to a Broadway show that I have absolutely no interest in seeing. I truly wondered what my family was thinking when they decided that those gifts would make me happy. Being that I recently turned 21, you would think it would be suitable to maybe give me a gift card to a liquor store, or maybe just an outfit that I can wear to a bar or club. I’ve only been to a bar/ club about five times since my birthday, so I’m still don’t exactly have a favorite drink. I did however go to a holiday party on Christmas eve and I told the people I was with to just get me whatever they think I would like, and they brought me pink sangria, Sangria is just a drink with a lot of wine and some fruit. Who knew something so simple could be so good? I had a nice relaxing buzz as Faith Hill’s slow country song came on, it made me feel happy and just content. I can say that sangria could definitely be on the top of my to be favorite drinks. What have I learned from this experience? Next year when I’m asked what I want for the holidays, I’m going to ask for that gift card to Wine.com.
